Momentum Waikato, the region's community foundation, has put up $1 million for Waikato organisations to come up with "inspirational" ideas for creating transformational change in the community.
The $1 million grant is the pinnacle of a community project, Waikato Vital Signs where 10 community priorities were identified from a series of public meetings.
