A huge thank you to Parekawhia McLean, who has stepped down from the Momentum Waikato Board after three-and-a-half years of service.
“I enjoyed being part of a dedicated governance group committed to the intergenerational prosperity of the Waikato region,” says Parekawhia.
“I’m proud of the connections and investments Momentum Waikato - Te Puaawaitanga o Waikato is making to build a better Waikato, for everyone, forever. Although sad to be leaving I will continue to be a friend and supporter of the Foundation’s work.
“Mahia te mahi hei painga mo te iwi - work for the betterment of our community/people.”
Having been on NZTA’s leadership team, Parekawhia has now moved to an executive role with Counties Manukau Health in Auckland, while still being fully engaged with Waikato Tainui. We wish her well in all her endeavours.
